One year…
In the last year the Lap Band surgery has changed my life. No more Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, Prescription Pills, shortness of breath walking 100 feet, sleepless nights, etc. I could go on about the everything that improved health wise for this whole post….that’s how transforming it has been.
I want to thank the following people: Everyone that left comments and contacted me privately after visiting the site, Friends and family who understood why I needed to do this and supported me in my choice, my co workers who were so supportive of the changes and adjustments I went through, Lulu at Mehta Bariatric Center, Sabina Beesley my dietitian, Dr Vishal Mehta my surgeon and my wife Rupal who was there start to finish on this journey, who kept me straight when I would have went others ways if left on my own and for her love and support.
I still have 20 lbs more to loose, hopefully over the next 6 months, then I will be in maintenance mode and living the longest and healthiest life this body can provide. Thank you everyone.

So happy for you and proud but a little pissed that you are now wearing smaller jeans than me. Thanks for giving me that extra 20 lbs. Eleanor appreciates it too.

It’s been inspiring watching the transformation over the past year. Congratulations! Thank you for being a great example of perseverance and focus. You’re one of the examples I give to my kids about dedication and commitment. Hope to see you again soon. – Tom
