The first link displays his creative ability to turn his own feelings into a wonderful video called “Transform”, it was a game changer for me as far as how I viewed my own photography. The video is applicable to any one who ever questions what they do. The second is a fine example of how Zack relates to his readers and cares about how he processes and interacts with his audience (which is no small feat – very few blogs feel intimate these days). Third is the latest video he has shared of an experience of interacting with a salesman at his door and how it relates to the prior links. These posts all had the same response from me – “WOW!”

I want to thank the following people: Everyone that left comments and contacted me privately after visiting the site, Friends and family who understood why I needed to do this and supported me in my choice, my co workers who were so supportive of the changes and adjustments I went through, Lulu at Mehta Bariatric Center, Sabina Beesley my dietitian, Dr Vishal Mehta my surgeon and my wife Rupal who was there start to finish on this journey, who kept me straight when I would have went others ways if left on my own and for her love and support.

I still have 20 lbs more to loose, hopefully over the next 6 months, then I will be in maintenance mode and living the longest and healthiest life this body can provide. Thank you everyone.

With the Super Bowl coming up, I was trying to think of something BIG (besides the annual “Frankies“ that I know all of you are looking forward to). I thought of something that I think is great and I am hoping you will too.

Scott Kelby, the world famous Photoshop author,  recently had his new Photoshop book released in a spiral bound limited edition. This makes learning while working on the computer a breeze, as the book lays flat and is much easier to follow along. In addition, the information on the pages rock! So, as a part of the new release of the book, Scott had a one day sale of this spiral bound book. Every dollar of the book‘s purchase went to a project called Springs of  Hope. The ministry will initially serve 50 children in the Nakuru, Kenya region. The facility will be positioned on one acre of land on the outskirts of the city. It will serve as a home for the orphaned children and their caregivers living in the home, providing bed, food, shelter, education, and nurturing for the children.  Incidentally, I have two copies of this spiral bound version of the book which is now sold out. I thought this would be a great way to continue to help the cause Scott so selflessly contributed his time and effort to by having a raffle of my extra copy.
